Where Has the Time Gone?

I apologize for my blogging hiatus... aside from letting life get too busy, I guess I have had a writer's block... if that is possible.
So, to sum up the past two months, here we go....

*We spent Easter Sunday in Mangham, LA with my Nana and Papaw... great food and great memories... I just love them!

*Our family is minus one... our lab, Bear, went on to doggie heaven... it was a bad day in our home...lots of tears and rough conversations with a 10-yr-old...By the way, my husband and I do not see eye-to-eye on doggie heaven...

*I had the most WONDERFUL Mother's Day.... Ragan got a new radio installed in my car. There is a really funny story behind this... it involves a jammed CD, a bunch of tools, and a husband who should never attempt to perform "surgery" on radios!

*My mom had a birthday in May.. she turned 29 :-) and we traveled to the great Metropolis of Marksville to Red River Grill. It is my parent's home away from home and I now see why. It was really good... the best part was my little sister convincing us all to play "I've Never" at the table...lots of laughs that night. I think Ragan is concerned that he is forever connected to these people!! ha ha ha

*For my mom's birthday, my little sister and I took my mother to the Kitchen Warehouse for a Mother-Daughter brunch... it was great.. fun, relaxing, refreshing... it also awakened by love for cooking new things... I REALLY love to cook and I am pretty good at it if I say so myself... or, my husband is just a great LIAR!! In my next life, I will attend culinary school... oh, and dance on Broadway!!! ha ha

*Austin finished 4th grade... he received awards for his grades and AR points... really proud of him...he is changing from a little boy to a "tween" (if that is what you call it)... I AM NOT ready for this, just to let you know.

*We are preparing for summer now...swimming lessons and Camp Ozark and painting the den and kitchen (Ragan doesn't know I added that in) and family vacation and fixing up the back yard are on the agenda for now (Mom, the backyard is last on the list....lol)

*Cooper had an "end of the year" program at his "school".... HILARIOUS! If I can, I will post a quick video. Instead of singing, he basically yelled for his Papa (my dad ATE IT UP by the way) and his cousin Allie from the stage the entire time. I apologize to the other parents for him distracting everyone... :-)

*My aunt was diagnosed with AML... please keep her and all the Poche family in your prayers... I believe in miracles and know where they come from....

*Ragan and I started our "clean eating" way of life.... if you can, get the book, it is worth your time... as usual, Ragan is doing much better than I am! But, I refuse to give up... if I could just be severely allergic to chocolate, I think that would solve alot of problems!

After reading this, I realize maybe we weren't as busy as I felt. I promise to post a few snapshots of the past two months when I can.... just not right now because I have a 20-month-old that needs my "guidance"... so, let me run before my house is completely destroyed
