I think the 4th grader's heart has mended.... he asked to wear Ragan's cologne to school today... he also asked me if his breath smelled!
What in the world is going on here??? :-)

Who We Are

- We are a family of four (with one on the way) made up of two imperfect parents who still don't have all the answers or have it all quite figured out (we are working on it, though)... and two boys (ages 10 and 1 1/2). We also have two dogs - Pretty Girl & Preacher (2 Miniature Schnauzers who love to destroy the bathroom). We love each other deeply, recognizing that family is precious and irreplaceable. We are on a journey to fulfill the purpose God has for us....it seems to be ever-changing. We pray that we guide our boys to live life on purpose, love people, and exemplify Jesus Christ... We are all a work in progress!

You ask what is going on here? He is "growing up"!!! Coming even closer to those teenage years. This is just the beginning of YOUR preparation for those trying years. Be thankful for every little bit of help you get. You'll need it once those hormones really kick in & his attitude changes by the hour. You remember those years --- bet your mom does --- don't you?? You'll make it through with flying colors --- you are a terrific mom. And know what --- he will turn out to be a marvelous adult, just as you have. Love ya
I know... it's so hard for us Mom's when our boys start growing up. Call me for counseling... ha! We're surviving "14" now and the transition to this point has been tough for me... he's surviving just fine!
